Effect of The Film Thickness on Physical Properties of Fluorine Doped Indium Oxide Thin Films

Abstract
In this paper fluorine doped indium oxide films of different thicknesses ranging from 1150Â to 12900Â were prepared using spray pyrolysis technique by varying the amount of spray solution, keeping substrate temperature , doping concentration and air flow rate constant. The preferential growth orientation was determined using X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra of doped indium oxide film at various thicknesses. The sheet resistance decreases gradually with film thickness and then reaches a stable value. It is observed that also the increase in thickness of films deteriorates the optical properties of the deposited films beyond some limit.
